A company founded by an experienced and decorated sailboat designer Wallace Ross, Ross Marine Incorporated was founded in 1975. Building fiberglass watercraft originally designed for sailboat racing, Ross Marine Incorporated constructed vessels that were also meant to be accommodating to non-sailors. Ross Marine Incorporated products, the Sonar 23 and Kirby 23 Blazer sailboats, were created as fast, excellent handling vessels for competitive or leisurely sailing.
